To protect and shield your Facebook profile photo, you can
follow these steps:
Log in to your Facebook account using a web browser.
Go to your Facebook profile page by clicking on your profile
picture or your name in the top-right corner.
Hover over your current profile picture and click on the
"Update Profile Picture" button that appears.
In the pop-up window, you can choose to upload a new photo
or select an existing photo from your Facebook albums.
After selecting or uploading your desired profile photo,
click on the "Next" button.
On the next screen, you can adjust the position and size of
the photo to fit within the profile picture frame. Drag and resize the photo as
needed.
Below the photo, you will see the option "Set as
Profile Picture." Before clicking on it, you can add an extra layer of
protection by enabling profile picture guard.
Click on the "Add Frame" button located just below
the profile picture.
In the frame selection window, you can search for
"Profile Picture Guard" or choose from the available frame options.
Select the "Profile Picture Guard" frame, and it
will be applied to your profile picture.
Review the preview of your profile picture with the added
frame. If you are satisfied, click on the "Use as Profile Picture"
button.
The "Profile Picture Guard" frame adds an overlay
to your profile picture, indicating that it is protected. This helps discourage
others from misusing or downloading your profile picture.
It's important to note that while the profile picture guard
adds an extra layer of protection, it does not completely prevent others from
viewing or taking screenshots of your profile picture. However, it can deter
casual misuse and discourage unauthorized downloading.
Additionally, remember to review and adjust your privacy
settings on Facebook to control who can see your profile picture and other
personal information.
