While PowerPoint is primarily designed for creating
presentations, you can use some of its features to remove the background of an
image. Here's a step-by-step guide on how to remove the background of an image
using PowerPoint:
Open PowerPoint and create a new slide or open an existing
slide where you want to work with the image.
Insert the image into the slide by going to the
"Insert" tab and clicking on the "Picture" button. Browse
and select the image file from your computer.
With the image selected, you'll see the "Picture
Tools" tab appear in the ribbon. Click on it to access the picture editing
options.
In the "Adjust" group, click on the "Remove
Background" button. PowerPoint will automatically try to detect the
background of the image.
PowerPoint will apply a default background removal to the
image. You'll see a selection box around the image, with a magenta color
indicating the areas that will be removed.
If the automatic background removal didn't accurately detect
the areas you want to remove, you can manually refine the selection. Use the
"Mark Areas to Keep" and "Mark Areas to Remove" options in
the "Background Removal" tab to draw lines on the areas you want to
keep or remove.
PowerPoint will adjust the background removal based on your
manual markings. Keep refining the selection until you're satisfied with the
result.
When you're done, click on the "Keep Changes"
button in the "Background Removal" tab. PowerPoint will remove the
selected background and keep the rest of the image.

To save the image with the removed background, right-click
on the image and choose "Save as Picture" from the context menu.
Specify the file name and location to save the image with the transparent
