How to Split Screen in Windows 11 Easy Way

In Windows 11, you can easily split your screen to view multiple windows side by side using the Snap feature. Here's a simple way to split the screen in Windows 11:

Open the windows/apps you want to view side by side.

Drag one window to either the left or right edge of the screen until you see a translucent outline appear.

Release the mouse or trackpad button to snap the window to that side of the screen. The window will occupy half of the screen.

A list of other open windows will appear in the center of the screen. Click on the window you want to open in the other half of the screen.

Alternatively, you can use keyboard shortcuts to snap windows:

Windows Key + Left Arrow: Snaps the current window to the left side of the screen.

Windows Key + Right Arrow: Snaps the current window to the right side of the screen.

Both windows will now be displayed side by side, allowing you to work with multiple applications simultaneously.

If you want to resize the windows, position the mouse cursor on the vertical bar between the two windows until it turns into a double-sided arrow. Click and drag the bar left or right to adjust the size of each window.

You can also use the Snap Assist feature to open additional windows in the remaining space on the screen. When you snap a window, Windows 11 will display a list of other open windows. Click on the desired window to open it in the remaining space.

By using the Snap feature in Windows 11, you can easily split your screen and multitask efficiently by working with multiple windows simultaneously.
