To delete all emails in Gmail, you can use a combination of
filters and the bulk select option. Follow these steps:
Open your Gmail account in a web browser.
In the search bar at the top, click on the downward-facing
arrow to open the advanced search options.
Leave the search bar empty and click on the
"Search" button. This will display all emails in your Gmail account.
On the top left of the Gmail interface, you will see a
checkbox just below the search bar. Click on it to select all the emails on the
current page.
If you want to select all emails in your Gmail account, look
for a message that says, "All 50 conversations on this page are selected.
Select all conversations that match this search." Click on the text that
says "Select all conversations that match this search." This will
select all the emails in your Gmail account.
Once all emails are selected, you will see a message at the
top that says, "All 50 conversations on this page are selected. Select all
XXX conversations in Inbox." Click on the text that says "Select all
XXX conversations in Inbox." This will select all the emails in your Gmail
account, regardless of the number.
With all emails selected, click on the trash bin icon
(Delete) at the top of the Gmail interface. This will move all selected emails
to the trash folder.
To permanently delete the emails from the trash folder, go
to the left sidebar and click on "Trash." Once in the trash folder,
click on the "Empty Trash now" link at the top of the page. Confirm
the action when prompted.
Please note that deleting all emails in your Gmail account
is a permanent action, and once deleted, the emails cannot be recovered. Ensure
that you have backed up any important emails or data before proceeding.
